Howard Magness
Howard is currently serving as Consultant to the on the Marriage Works Board of Directors. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Set Free Ministry from 2006 to 2011 after serving as its first Chairman from 2000 to 2004. He has been a member of Mountain Christian Church in Joppa, MD for his entire life. He has served on their Board of Deacons, including as Chairman. He has also served as a Sunday School teacher with them. Howard is also an Elder with New Life Christian Community in Bel Air, MD. He has belonged to the community for over 20 years and has served as an Elder during the last 10 years. Howard is a retired Account Development Manager for Woodstream Corporation in Lititz, PA where he had been employed from 1991 to 2008. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. In 2008, he and Barbara adopted 14-year-old Adam. In 2008 Howard also began "Lift Up Jesus - Higher Together," a ministry to multiply the community impact of existing Harford County Christian ministries by inviting other churches to join with them thus leveraging their resources, demonstrating the love of Christ, and transforming the community by meeting its physical and spiritual needs.
